Romney Responds To Broadband Question At NH Event
On Sunday, former Massachusetts Governor and 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney appeared at a V.F.W. in Hudson, New Hampshire to speak with voters about a variety of issues, including technology and broadband. A New Hampshire resident representing Broadband for America was in the audience to ask Governor Romney about his opinion of government regulation over the Internet. Romney noted that he would not allow the government to over-regulate the high-tech industry.
Romney continued to touch on technology, emphasizing how far technology has come by comparing Apple products to futuristic television classics like Star Trek. "I don’t know how many people have these iPhones, or iPads. The apps on those things, it’s just amazing. It’s like Star Trek. And The Jetsons," said Romney.
Romney's complete answer at the town hall event can be viewed on the Broadband for America videos page here.
