Missouri Governor Calls Broadband Expansion "Vital" For State's Economy

In Missouri, Gov. Jay Nixon urged businesses and public officials to come together in an effort to spread high-speed Internet access across the state, which Nixon said is vital for economic development.
The speech was part of a two-day broadband summit in Missouri, in which the state discussed the more than $200 million in broadband stimulus funds that have already been allocated to broadband access and adoption projects.
