On the second day of the TPI Aspen Forum, panel discussions will continue to cover a variety of policy topics as they relate to the conference’s theme "Technology Policy and the Economic Recovery." One late-morning panel, specifically, will feature familiar faces to Broadband for America as media and telecom leaders gather for a general discussion of the industry. President of NCTA and former Broadband for America Co-Chairman, Michael Powell, and Kathy Brown, Senior Vice President of Public Policy Development and Corporate Responsibility at Verizon will both be sitting on the panel. Comcast representative Joe Waz will be moderating the discussion. NCTA, Verizon and Comcast are all members of Broadband for America. Other panelists include Blair Levin, Director of the National Broadband Plan, and representatives from Disney, Google and the Entertainment Software Association.

TPI Aspen brings together leaders from business, government and academia to discuss key public policy issues affecting information and communications technology. This year’s two-day event has focused on issues from privacy and cybersecurity to social media and the global Internet.
